Carnival is the next day — roads will be chaos
For anyone coming from Rio de Janeiro, please note that it will be the Friday before Carnival. Plan ahead, as the Rio–Niterói Bridge will likely be heavily congested. We recommend taking the CCR Barcas “catamarã” service to Charitas and then catching the OC1 bus to Piratininga. If you’re crossing the bridge, try to head to Niterói as early as possible in the morning.

It's Carnival Time!
Carnival Saturday is the morning after our wedding. The Rio–Niterói bridge can gridlock for 5+ hours with bloco closures and parade traffic. Please plan to arrive in Niterói the day before or take the Praça XV → Charitas ferry instead of crossing by car. Aim for early departures, check ride-share surges, and build generous buffer time into every trip.

When the Fun Starts
We kick off at 5pm with drinks and bites - come hungry! The ceremony and speeches happen at 6:30pm during that gorgeous Rio sunset. The official party wraps at 10pm, but let's be real... we'll probably keep the celebration going nearby!

Summer beach vibes! No enclosed rooms, no AC. It can get hot.
Swimwear underneath is suggested - beach photos are definitely happening!
